RARE 3rd class Relic - Blood Of Jesus

The piece of relic you will receive has been touched to a piece of Joseph of Arimathea's cloth that he used to wipe Jesus' blood after the Crucifixion. After the Crucifixion, Joseph of Arimathea wiped blood from the body of Christ and preserved the cloth!

Joseph of Arimathea's preserved cloth, with Jesus' Precious Blood, remained in the Holy Land until the Second Crusade, when the King of Jerusalem Baldwin III gave it to his brother-in-law, Count of Flanders Diederik van de Elzas.

The count arrived with this Precious Cloth in Bruges on April 7, 1150 and placed it in a chapel he had built on Burg Square. It has been venerated since the Middle ages at Bruges (Belgium) in the Holy Blood Basilica (see picture on the right!).

We will send you this very special package. Inside you will find a very special piece of material that has been touched to this rare Holy Blood relic that was preserved by Joseph of Arimathea. Your package will come with a piece of material in a package that was touched to an authentic piece of Joseph of Arimathea's cloth, certificate of authenticity, a history sheet, and a Holy Relic card.

      FAQ'S

      A WORD REGARDING RELICS:

The history of our faith has many instances in which relics were used as instruments of healing. Companion of the Cross Father Martins explained that relics are not “magic” and have no power of their own. However, our faith teaches us that God uses matter in the sacraments to confer grace, and scripture shows that God used relics for his work. God raised a man from the dead when his corpse touched the bones of Elisha the prophet (2 Kings 13:20-21); a woman was healed when she touched the tassel of the cloak of Jesus (Matthew 9:20-22); and handkerchiefs and aprons touched by Paul were used by God to heal and drive out evil spirits (Acts 19:11-12).

Relics are objects directly associated with Jesus or the saints. Third class Relics may be given to individuals. It is actually "encouraged" as a means of fostering devotion. This is they type of Relic that we offer.

NOTE:  A Third Class Relic is something that has been touched to the body (or to a portion of the body) of a Saint. Generally, the Third Class Relic is a piece of cloth, but it need not be. Third class Relics may be given to individuals, and can be sold. It is actually "encouraged" as a means of fostering devotion. This is they type of Relic that we offer
