THE WIDOWS MITE!

Not a replica, but an actual bronze coin, certified genuine, minted in the Holy Land over 2000 years ago during the reign of King Alexander Jannaeus in the century preceding the birth of Jesus (103-76 BC). It is an actual "widow mite" that circulated in the Holy Land during Jesus' life.

What makes these coins of great historical and religious importance is that twice in the Bible (Mark 12:41 & Luke 21:1). Jesus tells the story of the poor widow who gave all that she had which was just two mites. The coin enclosed is identical to the type of coins she would have had. These coins have been known to collectors for hundreds of years as "Widow's Mites.

SPINA CHRISTI RELIQUARY CRUCIFIX

This is a very special and unique crucifix! One of my personal favorites.

A small screw in the bottom of this very unique crucifix, comes out to open up an actual reliquary inside the crucifix.


Inside the reliquary there is a small slip of paper which states "TERRA COTTA CATACOMBS" (Latin) and a small amount of earth from the Holy Catacombs. There is room inside the crucifix to put your own relic if you choose.

ARCHANGEL RAPHAEL "PRESERVE US" ANTIQUE MEDAL

This particular piece is recast by hand from an old antique medal.

On the front is the Archangel Raphael and on the back is a special prayer which reads, "St. Raphael, Preserve us from ill health and all danger to life."

I beg you to try to lay the heavy weight of those burdens aside today! Give them to God!
Let today be the day you let them go!!! Put away all past setbacks, resentments...leave those regrets behind..so you can live in joy and peace.

Lastly, push any destructive thoughts out of your mind today and never, never allow anyone to make you feel worthless!
You may be thinking "yeah, right..no way, Wendy..it's not that simple"...and I say read Isaiah 43:19! "Behold, I am doing a new thing, now it springs forth, do you not see it?
I will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."
If God can make rivers in the desert...He sure can fix whatever is going on in your life!
He has fixed my life physically (I've lost over 70 pounds and am finally physically fit!), spiritually (I've come to know and love Jesus on a much, much deeper level)
and mentally (because He fixed the other two...I feel mentally sound!)
He can do the same for you--your problems are never to big for God! Do I hear an AMEN?
