Vintage Porcelain Madonna & Christ Child — A Beautiful Convent Treasure

Oh, this one is lovely. ❤️ From her richly colored purple mantle to the delicate gold detailing and little Christ Child seated before her, there is so much to admire.

From a now-closed nuns’ convent, this porcelain Madonna and Child offers a tender reminder of Mary’s loving care for Jesus—and her invitation to draw close to Him. Her gently inclined head, graceful hands, and the beautifully decorated halos give this piece such a distinctive presence.

She would make a beautiful centerpiece for a Marian prayer corner or a treasured addition to a collection of devotional art.

Details:

- Porcelain with purple, cream, pale green, and gold decoration.

- 9¼ inches tall, 6½ inches wide, and 6⅝ inches deep.

- From a now-closed nuns’ convent.

Her missing little bird is part of her condition, and we want you to know about it before welcoming her home. She remains a beautiful depiction of Our Blessed Mother and the Christ Child, ready for a new place of honor.
