Vintage Norman Rockwell Limited-Edition Plate

“After the Party” — Mother’s Day 1981

There is something so tender about this Norman Rockwell scene. A beautifully dressed young woman sits beside her mother after the celebration has ended, sharing one of those quiet heart-to-heart moments that mothers and daughters treasure. The party may be over, but the best part of the evening appears to be happening right here. ❤️

This vintage fine-china collector plate was produced in 1981 by the Edwin M. Knowles China Company. It is the sixth plate in Norman Rockwell’s annual Mother’s Day series and was officially certified by the Rockwell Society of America.

The limited edition was permanently closed on May 8, 1981.
