Vintage Lefton China Madonna Bust · Porcelain Bisque · 7¼″

This lovely Madonna bust came to us from a now-closed convent. I especially love the gentle tilt of Our Lady’s head and the delicate way her hands are raised. Her warm cream veil and broad halo frame her face, and the soft mauve of her robe brings out the beautiful detailing.

She stands 7¼ inches tall, is made of porcelain bisque, and bears a Lefton China maker’s mark. She’s in great convent-used condition, with some visible surface marks on the halo. She’d be lovely on a home altar or beside the chair where you pray your rosary.
