Vintage Italian St. Joseph the Worker Statue — 8½"

Another wonderful antique-shop rescue by Walt! He has such a heart for finding these forgotten Catholic treasures and bringing them home to be loved again.

This vintage statue depicts St. Joseph the Worker, portrayed as the humble carpenter and provider of the Holy Family. He is surrounded by the tools of his trade, including an axe and wood at his feet, while carrying a work vessel in his hand. His simple garments and thoughtful expression beautifully reflect the quiet strength, dignity, and faithful labor of this beloved saint.

The statue measures approximately 8½ inches tall and appears to be made from a solid molded composition or resin with an aged ivory finish. The underside bears a faint ITALY stamp. It has some expected age-related discoloration, surface wear, and paint loss—particularly on the axe—which only adds to its wonderful vintage character.

A meaningful treasure for a husband, father, carpenter, craftsman, business owner, or anyone devoted to St. Joseph. He would also be lovely displayed in a home office, workshop, prayer corner, or family altar.
