Vintage Irish Turf Penal Cross — Owen Crafts, Ireland

There is something quietly moving about this Irish cross—a beautiful reminder to hold fast to our faith and bring our burdens to Our Lord. ❤️

From a now closed nuns’ convent, this vintage Irish turf Penal Cross was made by Owen Crafts in Ballyshannon, Ireland. Its rich, earthy appearance and detailed depiction of Christ make it a meaningful addition to a prayer corner or a thoughtful gift for someone with Irish roots.

Measuring 9 5/8 inches tall by 3 1/4 inches wide, it is a lovely devotional piece for moments of comfort, reflection, and prayer. Please look closely at the photos for its detailing and signs of age.

Your purchase also helps support our family’s Pediatric Mission. Thank you for helping us give these Catholic treasures another loving home. ❤️
