Vintage Infant Jesus of Prague — Painted Porcelain

A little King with such a beautiful reminder: the God who holds the whole world chose to come to us as a little Child. ❤️

Devotion to the Infant Jesus of Prague invites us to contemplate that wonderful mystery. Jesus knew the smallness of childhood, the tenderness of His Mother’s care, and the ordinary life of a family home. We can bring Him every concern within our own homes, trusting that He understands and loves us.

His crown reminds us that the Child of Bethlehem is truly King. His hand is raised in blessing, while the orb He holds represents His dominion over the world. Together, these details invite us to place our worries into the hands of the One who is both mighty and merciful.

For generations, families have turned to the Holy Infant in prayer through uncertainty, illness, financial difficulties, and everyday needs. This devotion encourages a childlike trust in Jesus: asking confidently, remaining faithful, and trusting His wisdom even while we wait.

From a now-closed nuns’ convent, this lovely painted porcelain figure stands 7 inches tall. He wears a white robe with raised floral detailing, a delicate lace-trimmed cape, and a cream satin ribbon, complemented by a gold-toned crown and base.

In great convent-used condition, this little treasure would make a meaningful addition to a home prayer corner or a thoughtful gift for someone devoted to the Infant Jesus.
