Vintage Catholic Nun with Rosary Statue — 7"

Another beautiful antique-shop rescue by Walt! 🥰

This lovely vintage Catholic statue depicts a reverent nun dressed in a traditional black habit and white wimple, with her hands folded peacefully and a gold-accented rosary hanging at her side.

She may represent St. Rita of Cascia, although she does not bear St. Rita’s customary identifying symbols, so I am offering her simply as a vintage Catholic nun statue. Her serene expression and graceful detailing make her a beautiful reminder of prayer, devotion and the quiet souls who dedicate their lives entirely to God.

She measures approximately 7 inches tall and appears to be made of hollow porcelain or ceramic. She is in lovely vintage condition, with minor signs of age consistent with a previously cherished devotional treasure.

Walt rescued her from an antique shop, and now she is ready for a prayer corner, home altar or religious collection where she will once again be loved.
