Vintage Carved Wood Our Lady of Lourdes — A Convent Treasure

Some treasures make you want to pause and whisper a Hail Mary. This lovely Our Lady of Lourdes is one of them. ❤️

From a now-closed nuns’ convent, this 9¾-inch wooden carving depicts Our Blessed Mother with her hands folded in prayer and a rosary draped from her arm. Her flowing mantle, softly colored robes, and delicate gold accents give her such a quiet, prayerful beauty.

Under her title of Our Lady of Lourdes, Mary holds a special place in the hearts of those praying for the sick, caring for loved ones, or seeking comfort in difficult seasons. This statue would be a meaningful addition to a home prayer corner or a thoughtful gift for someone with a devotion to Our Blessed Mother.
