Vintage 1966 Infant Jesus of Prague — A Convent Treasure

There is something so tender about this beautiful Infant Jesus, with His little hand raised in blessing and His lovely ivory garments trimmed in delicate lace. What a precious addition to a home prayer corner or family altar! ❤️

From a now-closed nuns’ convent, this 9-inch plaster statue bears the Columbia Statuary maker’s mark and label, with a 1966 copyright mark.

His crown, blue orb, and richly detailed clothing give him such a lovely presence. He appears to have received a couple of small touch-ups for previous minor damage, such as a chip or two. Otherwise, he is in great convent-used condition, with the gentle signs of age that come with a vintage treasure.

After spending years in a convent, he is ready for another loving Catholic home.

Your purchase also helps support our family’s Pediatric Mission. Thank you for helping us give these Catholic treasures another loving home. ❤️
