Standing an impressive 18 inches tall, this vintage Infant Jesus of Prague statue is a substantial, very heavy plaster piece that came to us from a now-closed Catholic church. This is not a small home devotional figurine—it has the size and weight of a statue meant to be prominently displayed and venerated.

The Infant Jesus is depicted in the beloved traditional manner: crowned as King, His right hand raised in blessing and His left holding the orb surmounted by the Cross, symbolizing Christ’s kingship over the entire world.

Devotion to the Infant Jesus of Prague has been cherished by Catholics for centuries and is especially associated with trust in Divine Providence, protection of the family, and complete confidence in the goodness and generosity of Christ.

Traditionally associated with this devotion are the beautiful words:

“The more you honor Me, the more I will bless you.”
