St. Peter Enthroned — Solid Brass — 5½ Inches — From a Closed Convent

A little treasure with a powerful connection to our Catholic faith. ❤️

From a now-closed convent, this 5½-inch solid brass statue depicts St. Peter seated on a throne, holding the keys and raising his right hand in blessing. Its darkened patina and brighter worn highlights bring out the folds of his robes, his expressive face, and the details of his chair.

The keys recall Christ’s words to Peter: “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 16:19). They symbolize the authority entrusted to him by Jesus—a reminder of Peter’s place as the first pope and his mission to shepherd the Church.

Yet Peter is also a wonderfully comforting saint because we know his weaknesses. He was eager, sometimes impulsive, and afraid when courage mattered most. He denied knowing Jesus, wept over his failure, and was welcomed back by the Lord, who entrusted him with caring for His flock.

His story reminds us that our failures do not have to be the end of our story with God. Through repentance and grace, we can begin again.

This compact brass statue would make a meaningful addition to a prayer corner, library shelf, or desk, inviting prayers for the Church, the Holy Father, and our own perseverance in faith.

St. Peter, pray for us. Help us return to Jesus when we fall and remain faithful to Him with humble, courageous hearts.

Only ONE available.
