Homegrown Connecticut Pumpkin Seeds – From Our Jesuit Mission Farm

Grown on consecrated land dedicated to service, simplicity, and stewardship, these heirloom Connecticut pumpkins are a beloved part of our family and farm. First developed by John Howden, this treasured variety is known for its dependable yields and multi-purpose beauty—making it a favorite among our children (and animals!).

These plump, golden-orange pumpkins can grow up to 25 lbs or more, with a shape perfect for cheerful Jack-O’-Lanterns and a sweet, thick flesh ideal for pies, breads, and hearty autumn meals. Even our youngest son proudly holds his in the picture—every fall, it’s a joyful harvest that nourishes both body and soul.

We’ve grown these pumpkins for decades here on our Catholic mission farm, where organic methods, prayer, and purpose guide our planting. Our animals love the flesh and seeds, and we love the peace of knowing we’re cultivating something clean, wholesome, and entirely homegrown.

      What You Get:

      • A generous pack of 700–800 organically grown seeds – valued at well over $100

      • Grown with love, prayer, and rich soil on a sacred Jesuit mission site

      • Perfect for carving, baking, feeding livestock, or storing for long-term use

      • Selected for dependability, sweetness, and old-fashioned pumpkin charm
