Saint Francis Embracing the Crucified Christ

There is so much tenderness in this beautiful scene. Saint Francis draws close to Our Lord on the Cross, embracing Him with a love that seems to say, “Let me stay here with You.” ❤️

This devotional image reflects Saint Francis’s deep love for Jesus and His Passion. It invites us to draw close to Christ in our own sufferings, remembering the love He poured out for us on Calvary.

From a now-closed nuns’ convent, this solid resin statue stands 11 1/4 inches tall. Beautiful details include Saint Francis’s brown habit and white cord, the golden drapery over the cross, and the tender expressions of both figures.

In great convent-used condition, it would make a meaningful centerpiece for a home prayer corner or a thoughtful gift for someone with a Franciscan devotion.

Saint Francis of Assisi, pray for us and help us love Jesus more deeply.
