“Let the Little Children Come to Me” — Jesus with Children Statue

Some treasures speak straight to a mother’s heart. This beautiful depiction of Jesus surrounded by children certainly does. ❤️

It recalls the Gospel scene when people brought their children to Jesus for His blessing. The disciples tried to turn them away, but Our Lord welcomed them, took them into His arms, and blessed them. In the midst of everything else, He made room for the little ones. (Mark 10:13–16)

Look closely at the children gathered around Him—different faces, different clothing, little flowers offered with love, and even a child holding a teddy bear. One rests safely in His arm while the others press close. It is a tender reminder that every child is precious to Him.

For those of us praying over children and grandchildren, this scene offers such comfort. We cannot accompany them into every moment of their lives, but we can keep bringing them to Jesus in prayer.

From a now-closed nuns’ convent, this beautifully detailed statue stands 9 7/8 inches tall.

Condition: There is some chipping on the base, as shown in the photo. Otherwise, it is in great convent-used condition.

A meaningful addition to a family prayer corner or a thoughtful gift for a parent, grandparent, teacher, or catechist.

Dear Jesus, keep our children close to Your Heart, and help us welcome every little soul with Your love.
