It is said that a Poor Clare nun went directly to Heaven upon her death, skipping purgatory completely through this prayer! (Can it be proven? No, but it can't hurt to pray it!)

This prayer gives us a spirit of penitence and humility which will draw us closer to Jesus.

As St. Margaret Mary wrote “consider often that it is only the humble of heart that can enter into the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, converse with Him, love Him and be loved by Him."
