For centuries, long before pharmacies were filled with plastic bottles and computers, medicine was prepared by hand.

Herbs were crushed.

Roots were ground.

Healing remedies were carefully prepared using tools like this.

This beautiful vintage pharmacy mortar and pestle is marked Rx, honoring the early apothecaries who combined science, herbal medicine, and faith in the healing arts.

It reminds me of the old monastery dispensaries where monks prepared herbal medicines for the sick.

I am offering this special piece from my personal collection to help raise funds for our Pediatric Mission.
