I fell down the stairs and...

I truly believe staying "positive" is good for the soul!  As it says in Proverbs 15:13
A glad heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by grief of mind the spirit is cast down.

Well...I'm human like every one else and there are times I just want to grumble and be miserable.  In fact, I would probably be rather good at it...but...I refuse to let myself "go there".

I remember when I was 9 months pregnant for my 10th child.  My due date was just a week away and I was headed down the garage stairs to get in the van.

The whole family was in the van waiting for me (yeah, I'm always the last one out of the house..lol).  Anyhoo....I fell down all the stairs in the garage.  Yep...every last stair connected with my backside!  Praise God, I went down all of the stairs via my butt....bump, bump, bump, bump, bump...ouch!

Walt and all the kids were horrified though...they all came running out of the van screaming, "Are you okay??!"
I answered in my usual way, "Yeah, I'm fine.....but, man...I just found a really quick way to get down those stairs!  ;-)"  lol.
It's not always easy being "cheerful"...but...if God is telling me that a  glad heart maketh a cheerful countenance, I will try my best not to be a miserable chick.
Thanks for letting me share my life with you...As I mentioned yesterday, I feel a genuine connection with all of you...
    Know that I truly care.
You're not just some "cyber character" I've happened to run across on the internet.  I know you're a real person, with real feelings and real needs!  I'm here for you!  You are like family to me!

May God bless you!  Love and blessings to all my family (meaning YOU!), Wendy C.
