The special candle you will receive has been Lit from the Holy Fire of Jesus' Holy Tomb (Church of the Holy Sepulcher) and will come with a certificate/explanation sheet and Holy Card!

HISTORY OF THE HOLY SEPULCHRE (Jesus' Tomb) : The shrine has rich internal and external decoration and consists of two parts: the first is a chamber the Chapel of the Archangel with the Holy Rock. There is a fragment of the Rock that was placed in front of the entrance of Jesus Christ tomb with the Greek sign “the angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone from the door” (Matthew 28:2)

The second is the main chamber of the Holy Sepulchre, the place where Jesus disciples buried Him. In the internal are carved verses from the gospels and carvings of the event. Over the door is a relief depiction of the resurrection.On either side of the Edicule are two lines of candlesticks that belong to the Greek Orthodox, the Armenians and the Roman Catholics. They are lit according to the rite that is being celebrated. In front of the Edicule, there are four rows of lamps.

The interior of the Edicule is lined with marble and decorated with pictures, hangings, lamps and candelabra, which are numerically, divided between the three principal communities, Greek Orthodox, Armenians and Roman Catholics.There is almost always a line of people waiting to enter the Edicule. The space is confined and no more than four people can be admitted at one time. People usually spend about three minutes praying inside.

These very special candles have been lit from the eternal Holy fire at the Holy Tomb of Jesus for you! Your package will come with 5 candles, a certificate/explanation sheet and Holy Card!

The needs of the Pediatric Giving Mission are increasing by the day... the requests keep pouring in and we are down to just a handful of helpers.

Yes, we use funds from orders to provide for this, but I have been running such crazy specials that sometimes there is little to nothing left over.

As you know, we provide gas and grocery gift cards for those dealing with a gravely or terminally ill child..we have paid for surgeries, special formulas and diets, mortgages and rent (we have even had families stay with us), provided transportation, etc.

Here is a post, from a recipient of what we do,.

L**** and I were one of the precipitants of This mission. She is right. My parking was 9 per day for 3 months. Then on top of that food cost me approximately 15 per day. That was cheap - I got vouchers for $5.00 per meal. So somedays I did not eat or made meals last for more then one meal. Had to. Parking was $810. Food was $1,300. Then you have normal household bills and I have 3 animals I had to pay to have people come and take care of them. At first I had my dog in the Kennel for 1/2 the time. That was about 500. It is VERY expensive to have a sick child. That was Just ONE hospital stay. We have had numerous ones. Some only a few days, some a week or two. Without their help we would of gone fully under!

From providing necessary funds to actually having families stay with us...we DO what we say we do!
