These are vigorous plants and very early to produce,. They are also very adaptable to almost any climate...giving you big yield. High disease resistance.

The flavor is smooth, tender, and sweet. The very finest in home-garden beets.

The bright red-veined green tops are great as  a delicious table green. 

Before planting, make sure that the soil is as loose, rich, and well-drained as possible, so that the root can grow without stress.

Packet: 33 seeds.

DIRECT SEEDING:  Begin early sowings when soil has warmed to 45°F (7°C). Sow 15 seeds/ft. 1/2" deep, rows 12–18" apart. Thin to 1 plant per 2". For a continuous supply of greens and small tender beets, sow seed at 2-week intervals until 8 weeks before regular heavy frosts are expected.

If you want to store them, cut tops, wash, and store up to 6 months at 32°F (0°C) and 95% humidity.
