Dear family,
Last night, at exactly 11:11 PM, my beloved mother-love passed from this world.
In the quiet early morning hours, my husband rose to begin the painful task of making funeral arrangements.
As he gently opened our bedroom door, he whispered words that hit hard "Pope Francis died."
I will be honest with you, friends...I was not a fan of this pope.
And yet…my heart sank.
Because this moment is so much bigger than any one person, pope, or opinion.
We are witnessing prophecy unfold.
As Bud McFarlane mentioned...The Barque of Peter is being tossed in stormy waters...treacherous, wild, and dark.
Many saints, mystics, and approved apparitions warned us of this very age…the age of the great apostasy.
And now, here we are.
Let us not be naive.
The enemies of Holy Mother Church are both seen and unseen...human and demonic...working within and without her walls.
That hasn’t changed with the passing of Pope Francis.
If anything, the storm intensifies.
The next pope...whether holy or lukewarm, bold or hesitant, strong or struggling...will face a Church in dire need of reform, unity, and truth.
Now is the time to buckle up, my friends.
Now is the time to pray like never before.
Now is the time to cling to the Rosary, to the Eucharist, to the traditions and truths of our faith handed down through the centuries.
Because while the Church is being battered, Christ is still in the boat.
He has not abandoned us.
He never will.
Please keep our family in your prayers as we say goodbye to a beloved mother and grandmother.
And please pray for the Church as we enter into a new and uncertain chapter.
“The Church will bleed, but she will never die.”
—St. John Bosco
