Remember you must die...BUT

    Remember you must die...BUT

    +JMJ

    Dear family,

    Memento mori, memento vivere.

A Latin whisper to the soul…

    Remember you must die.

    Remember to live.

As Catholics, we hold both truths in sacred tension.

Yes, we are dust...and to dust we shall return.

But in the span between ashes and eternity, we are called to live...and to live well.

    Memento mori grounds us.

It keeps us humble, sober, watchful.

It reminds us to stay right with God, to love without delay, to forgive before the sun sets
    .
It reminds us that no earthly crown is worth our soul.

    But memento vivere lifts us.

It’s the breath of God in our lungs, the sunrise on a weary heart, the giggle of a grandchild, the Eucharist on the tongue.

It reminds us that life is a gift...and the Giver is good.

This life is not the end.

    It’s the proving ground.

    The pilgrimage.

The beautiful, sometimes broken, always blessed journey home.

    So I’ll light the candle.

    Kiss my crucifix.

    Hug tighter.

    Laugh more.

    Speak truth.

    And love wildly.

Because one day, the sands of my time will run out.

    But until then…

    Memento vivere.

For the glory of God, and the good of every soul He places in my path.

    I love you ❤️

    ---HELP IF YOU CAN----

Here is a post, from a recipient of what we do,.

L**** and I were one of the precipitants of This mission. She is right. My parking was 9 per day for 3 months. Then on top of that food cost me approximately 15 per day. That was cheap - I got vouchers for $5.00 per meal. So somedays I did not eat or made meals last for more then one meal. Had to. Parking was $810. Food was $1,300. Then you have normal household bills and I have 3 animals I had to pay to have people come and take care of them. At first I had my dog in the Kennel for 1/2 the time. That was about 500. It is VERY expensive to have a sick child. That was Just ONE hospital stay. We have had numerous ones. Some only a few days, some a week or two. Without their help we would of gone fully under!

From providing necessary funds to actually having families stay with us...we DO what we say we do!
