Providing Food For The Hungry -181 Bags of Groceries

Dear family,

Last night my foyer was overflowing with 181 bags of groceries waiting to be donated Friday.

And as I stood there looking at them all piled up… I thought about my mother, the most generous woman ever

One of the food pantries we support is nearly empty right now.

By God’s providence, it happens to be the very pantry my mom helped run before her life was cut far too short.

I wish she could be here to see this.

I wish she could see her children and grandchildren still carrying that same heart for others forward.

There are days now when my body does not cooperate very well (thanks MS)

Some days simply walking across the room feels like work.

But somehow… by the grace of God… 181 bags of groceries still filled my foyer  last night.

And honestly?

I think my mother would smile at the fact that you can barely get through the foyer without risking your life on a rogue can of soup or chili

People sometimes underestimate what one family can do.

But I have learned this... Love multiplies.

Mercy multiplies.

And when children are raised seeing generosity lived out in front of them… they often grow up to continue it long after we are gone.

That may be one of the greatest forms of wealth a person can leave behind.

Please pray for the families who will receive these groceries.

And if you are able to help someone in your own community, even in a small way… do it.

One meal.

One bag.

One act of kindness.

It matters more than you know.
