     I'm the nun who wasn’t.

    The physician who wasn’t.

But I am...the mother who was.

God’s design often unfolds quietly, and sometimes the dreams we hold with certainty fall away, replaced by something deeper and more beautiful than we ever imagined.

I was sure I’d serve in a habit or wear a physician's white coat, but my life took a different path...one that became a sacred calling in its own right.

God entrusted me with a wonderful husband and blessed us with 13 living children.

My heart finds no greater joy than in them, and through the years, my faith has remained the unwavering foundation of our home.

Sometimes, we think we know our path.

We envision our vocation with conviction, and then, in His gentle yet decisive way, God steps in and says, *Not this* but something more.

In His infinite wisdom, He gave me the gift of motherhood and the steadfast anchor of my Catholic faith.

Though I never wore the habit or took the Hippocratic Oath, I hold within me a blend of devotion and care.

My love for learning and healing lives on, even if it’s through a library’s worth of medical books scattered about my home instead of a medical office.

I look back, and I see it clearly now...God’s hand, guiding each step.

Through every joy and trial, He has drawn me closer, calling me to love and serve in ways I could never have anticipated.

Motherhood may not have been my original vision, but it is the mission that God entrusted to me..and in this role, I have found my deepest purpose and truest peace❤️

---Some of the many wee ones we've helped---

    ---HELP IF YOU CAN----

Here is a post, from a recipient of what we do,.

L**** and I were one of the precipitants of This mission. She is right. My parking was 9 per day for 3 months. Then on top of that food cost me approximately 15 per day. That was cheap - I got vouchers for $5.00 per meal. So somedays I did not eat or made meals last for more then one meal. Had to. Parking was $810. Food was $1,300. Then you have normal household bills and I have 3 animals I had to pay to have people come and take care of them. At first I had my dog in the Kennel for 1/2 the time. That was about 500. It is VERY expensive to have a sick child. That was Just ONE hospital stay. We have had numerous ones. Some only a few days, some a week or two. Without their help we would of gone fully under!

From providing necessary funds to actually having families stay with us...we DO what we say we do!
