With heavy hearts, we write to you about a family that holds a special place in our Pediatric Mission's journey. The story of Malachi and his family is one of resilience, love, and unwavering faith that has touched our hearts deeply.
Malachi's family was brought to our attention by several of their friends, who recognized the hardships they endured and the strength they exhibited through it all. Losing their beloved Daddy a few years ago from a condition similar to Malachi's was a profound blow to this close-knit family.
Malachi, the fourth of six siblings, faced numerous challenges with remarkable courage and an unyielding spirit. His passion for his faith shone through as he diligently served as an altar server, mastering his Latin responses with enthusiasm. He had a deep love for the Traditional Catholic faith, and his devotion was truly inspiring.
Last November, life dealt Malachi yet another blow, leaving him paralyzed from the neck down. His incredible resilience saw him through almost two months at Children's Hospital in Omaha, where he faced his struggles with bravery and determination.
Tragically, Malachi passed away, leaving behind cherished memories and an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.
In the face of such immense pain, this family's unwavering faith and strength continue to amaze us. They exemplify the essence of resilience, and their journey has touched the lives of countless others.
We vow to honor Malachi's memory and stand by this family in their time of grief and need. As we continue our mission to be the hands and feet of Christ, we will provide ongoing support to help ease the burdens they face.
Your contributions have been instrumental in providing comfort and assistance to families like Malachi's. Together, we have made a difference in their lives, and we are committed to extending our support in the days ahead.
Let us keep this family in our prayers and hearts, cherishing the legacy of a brave young soul whose faith and spirit will forever inspire us.
Thank you for being an essential part of our Pediatric Mission and for showing compassion and empathy to those in need. We are begging for your continued support, so we we continue to make a positive impact in the lives of families like Malachi's.
May God bless you abundantly for your kindness and generosity.

---HELP IF YOU CAN----
Here is a post, from a recipient of what we do,.
L**** and I were one of the precipitants of This mission. She is right. My parking was 9 per day for 3 months. Then on top of that food cost me approximately 15 per day. That was cheap - I got vouchers for $5.00 per meal. So somedays I did not eat or made meals last for more then one meal. Had to. Parking was $810. Food was $1,300. Then you have normal household bills and I have 3 animals I had to pay to have people come and take care of them. At first I had my dog in the Kennel for 1/2 the time. That was about 500. It is VERY expensive to have a sick child. That was Just ONE hospital stay. We have had numerous ones. Some only a few days, some a week or two. Without their help we would of gone fully under!
From providing necessary funds to actually having families stay with us...we DO what we say we do!
