    Dear family,

Embrace the Battle: A Call to True Catholicism

In our journey of faith, we are called to be more than just believers; we are called to be warriors.

Catholicism is not meant to be comfortable.

Comfy Catholicism breeds lukewarmness, and we know what Jesus said about being either hot or cold...

“So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.” - Revelation 3:16

This is a call to arms.

We are the Church Militant, and our weapons are not of this world.

They are the powerful tools of fasting and prayer.

In a world that seeks ease and comfort, we are called to embrace the struggle, to push beyond the superficial, and to dive deep into the true essence of our faith.

The Power of Fasting and Prayer

Fasting and prayer are not just practices... they are our lifelines to God.

They purify our hearts, sharpen our focus, and strengthen our resolve.

Fasting is a reminder that our true nourishment comes from God alone.

It is a discipline that frees us from the chains of our worldly desires, enabling us to cling more tightly to our Heavenly Father.

Prayer, on the other hand, is our direct line to the Divine.

It is in prayer that we find solace, strength, and guidance.

It is through prayer that we arm ourselves against the spiritual battles we face daily.

Together, fasting and prayer are formidable weapons that fortify our souls and prepare us for the battles ahead.

The Church Militant: Our Role in the Spiritual Warfare

As members of the Church Militant, we are engaged in a constant spiritual warfare.

Our enemy is not of flesh and blood but of the principalities and powers of this dark world.

We must be vigilant, always ready to defend our faith and uphold the truth.

Let us remember the words of Saint Paul:

“Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” - Ephesians 6:11

We are armed with the shield of faith, the breastplate of righteousness, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

With these, we stand firm, ready to face any challenge, knowing that God is with us.

    Inspiration from the Saints

Look to the saints for inspiration.

They were not comfortable; they were passionate, fervent, and unyielding in their devotion.

Saint Teresa of Ávila, Saint John of the Cross, and so many others faced immense trials, yet they remained steadfast.

They remind us that our journey is not meant to be easy but transformative.

    A Call to Take Action

This is a call to take action.

Let us not be lukewarm but fervent in our faith.

Let us embrace the discomfort, knowing that through it, we grow closer to God.

Let us wield the weapons of fasting and prayer with dedication and zeal!

May our hearts burn with a holy fire, our souls be ever vigilant, and our lives be a testament to the power and glory of God.

Together, as the Church Militant, we march forward, ever faithful, ever strong, ever ready for the battles that lie ahead.

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.” - 2 Timothy 1:7

    Rise, Church Militant!

    The battle is at hand!

Embrace your faith with fervor and let your life be a beacon of hope, courage, and unwavering devotion to our Lord, Jesus Christ!

---Some of the many wee ones we've helped---

    ---HELP IF YOU CAN----

Here is a post, from a recipient of what we do,.

L**** and I were one of the precipitants of This mission. She is right. My parking was 9 per day for 3 months. Then on top of that food cost me approximately 15 per day. That was cheap - I got vouchers for $5.00 per meal. So somedays I did not eat or made meals last for more then one meal. Had to. Parking was $810. Food was $1,300. Then you have normal household bills and I have 3 animals I had to pay to have people come and take care of them. At first I had my dog in the Kennel for 1/2 the time. That was about 500. It is VERY expensive to have a sick child. That was Just ONE hospital stay. We have had numerous ones. Some only a few days, some a week or two. Without their help we would of gone fully under!

From providing necessary funds to actually having families stay with us...we DO what we say we do!
