Don't waste your suffering..it can be redemptive 
What exactly is redemptive suffering?
As Catholic's we believe suffering can have a meaningful and transformative role in our life.
Suffering is not merely a result of the fall or a meaningless trial but can be united with the suffering of Christ to bring about spiritual growth and redemption.
We believe that by uniting our own suffering with Christ's suffering on the cross, we can participate in the redemptive work of Jesus.
This means that personal suffering can be offered up as a form of collaboration with Christ in His mission to redeem humanity.
Redemptive suffering is seen as a way to receive grace, grow in holiness, and develop virtues.
It is believed that enduring suffering with faith can lead to spiritual growth and deeper union with God.
Instead of seeing suffering as purely negative or pointless, we see it as having potential spiritual benefits and purposes.
This has helped me endure suffering with hope and a sense of divine purpose.
As Catholics we believe that offering one's suffering for others can have great intercessory power.
For instance, suffering might be offered up for the intentions of others or for the souls in purgatory.
This does not mean that suffering is desirable or that it should be sought out, but rather that it can be transformed into a source of spiritual growth and connection with the divine.

Here is a post, from a recipient of what we do,.
L**** and I were one of the precipitants of This mission. She is right. My parking was 9 per day for 3 months. Then on top of that food cost me approximately 15 per day. That was cheap - I got vouchers for $5.00 per meal. So somedays I did not eat or made meals last for more then one meal. Had to. Parking was $810. Food was $1,300. Then you have normal household bills and I have 3 animals I had to pay to have people come and take care of them. At first I had my dog in the Kennel for 1/2 the time. That was about 500. It is VERY expensive to have a sick child. That was Just ONE hospital stay. We have had numerous ones. Some only a few days, some a week or two. Without their help we would of gone fully under!
From providing necessary funds to actually having families stay with us...we DO what we say we do!
