Dear family,
As most of you know, a very large and reputable lab we had used for some of our formulations (since 2011!), shut their doors.
Just before this suddenly happened, we had put a huge deposit on a run of a few of our items...let's just say by huge, I mean you could have purchased a car.
It couldn't have come at a worse time as we were almost out of some of our formulations, the Pediatric Mission was way underfunded (we mostly fund it with sales of our products).
Then the other spiritual attacks kept hitting...Urgent Care visit for a kid, then major things breaking, virtually no sleep for 48 hours due to another situation...I was ready to crack and have been fighting off an anxiety attack.
I kept praying "O Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything!"
Then, a few hours ago, my youngest son came up to me and this was our conversation...
Winston Benedict: There's a bright red Cardinal that has been hanging near the garage for days.
Me: Is he hurt?
Winston: No, he just won't go away, he keeps flying around and then comes back
Me: Since when?
Winston: Since Friday afternoon (Note: this is when everything started!)
Me: <tears> Grandma McNamara told me (when I was a kid) that they are sent by God as a message of hope

Here is a post, from a recipient of what we do,.
L**** and I were one of the precipitants of This mission. She is right. My parking was 9 per day for 3 months. Then on top of that food cost me approximately 15 per day. That was cheap - I got vouchers for $5.00 per meal. So somedays I did not eat or made meals last for more then one meal. Had to. Parking was $810. Food was $1,300. Then you have normal household bills and I have 3 animals I had to pay to have people come and take care of them. At first I had my dog in the Kennel for 1/2 the time. That was about 500. It is VERY expensive to have a sick child. That was Just ONE hospital stay. We have had numerous ones. Some only a few days, some a week or two. Without their help we would of gone fully under!
From providing necessary funds to actually having families stay with us...we DO what we say we do!
