Dear family,
Are we overly distraught over hardships in our life?
Do we think we don't deserve the disturbances in our life?
I truly believe that trusting in Jesus will make all things right if we surrender to His will.
Bottom line, I am more concerned about being happy in the next life.
Yes, I will accept any gifts He gives me in this life and be very grateful for it...but I am in no way entitled to them.
Yet, I will not cry and bellyache over what Jesus does not give me...like being accepted for who I am.
When I encounter times when I feel like situations are more than I can handle and that I'm going to break...I pray the Serenity prayer.
We are like a tree and our trials are like the wind...we will bend back and forth and yet not break.
This actually makes the tree grow stronger.
This revelation came to me while I was standing in one of our farm orchards.
Like it says in Romans 8:28, we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.
We must put our complete trust in Him and know that whatever happens is for our best.
We must surrender ourselves to His care...then we can achieve peace ♡

Here is a post, from a recipient of what we do,.
L**** and I were one of the precipitants of This mission. She is right. My parking was 9 per day for 3 months. Then on top of that food cost me approximately 15 per day. That was cheap - I got vouchers for $5.00 per meal. So somedays I did not eat or made meals last for more then one meal. Had to. Parking was $810. Food was $1,300. Then you have normal household bills and I have 3 animals I had to pay to have people come and take care of them. At first I had my dog in the Kennel for 1/2 the time. That was about 500. It is VERY expensive to have a sick child. That was Just ONE hospital stay. We have had numerous ones. Some only a few days, some a week or two. Without their help we would of gone fully under!
From providing necessary funds to actually having families stay with us...we DO what we say we do!
