Dear family,
Our Catholic homes need to be small domestic churches...but how do we do this?
First...Have your parish priest bless your home. In Italy, it is the custom of the clergy to bless all houses in the parish annually. It is a powerful reminder of the home as “domestic church”.
Second...start with daily prayer time. Yes, we pray at Mass...but we need to pray with our family at home, too.
Third...in the kitchen. I call my table, my "domestic altar" for a reason. Note "fast" days and "feast" days. Let your faith make a difference in the way you cook and eat. Make a real effort in the kitchen for Christmas and Easter...and also at other major feasts such as the Immaculate Conception, the Presentation of the Lord, the Annunciation, and the Assumption. Some of these feasts have special foods associated with them.
Fourth...every Catholic home needs a crucifix in some prominent place. I have one in every single room. Statues, holy pictures, blessed salt, holy water, and holy water fonts are also something very good to have. You might want to consider a simple prayer altar, as well.
Fifth...our homes are to be places of hospitality. We have company quite often. That being said, we must be prudent ...especially if we have young children. Practice hospitality, as best as you can. “Do not neglect hospitality, for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels” (Hebrews 13:2).
Our homes (and family) need to be a little Catholic oasis in this immoral and unbelieving world (Catechism of the Catholic Church, No. 1655).
Sending our love and prayers to our remnant family...Wendy, Walt and the entire Cukierski family

I am begging for your help with The Pediatric Giving Mission.
---HELP IF YOU CAN----
Here is a post, from a recipient of what we do,.
L**** and I were one of the precipitants of This mission. She is right. My parking was 9 per day for 3 months. Then on top of that food cost me approximately 15 per day. That was cheap - I got vouchers for $5.00 per meal. So somedays I did not eat or made meals last for more then one meal. Had to. Parking was $810. Food was $1,300. Then you have normal household bills and I have 3 animals I had to pay to have people come and take care of them. At first I had my dog in the Kennel for 1/2 the time. That was about 500. It is VERY expensive to have a sick child. That was Just ONE hospital stay. We have had numerous ones. Some only a few days, some a week or two. Without their help we would of gone fully under!
From providing necessary funds to actually having families stay with us...we DO what we say we do!
Kindly, head HERE. We always send a nice gift for your help
