Daily Encouragement & Specials- My life story used to embarrass me

Daily Encouragement & Specials- My life story used to embarrass me

    +JMJ

    Dear family,

My story (from decades ago) used to embarrass me, but I started telling parts of it and so many told me that it gave them hope...so here is a small part of it.
    -‐--‐-----‐--------

When we were first married, we had NOTHING.

We slept on an air mattress on the floor of a tiny room in an old drafty farmhouse that was sectioned off.

We were in love and didn't care.

Fast forward several years and we still had nothing...but we were still deeply in love.

Then boom...we felt the sting of bankruptcy from medical bills.

It got worse before it got better and if it weren't for my faith, I would have totally crumbled.

Instead, I said "Dang it, this is NOT how I want life to be and with God's help, it can and will change!"

Together we built a family, and several successful businesses...with God as our partner.

We started our Pediatric Mission along the way as we understood the financial aspect of medical situations.

We always put God first and our life did do a 180.

I remember telling Walt (during our lack) that what little we had belonged to God and we MUST tithe even in our lack.

We no longer lack, but that time in the desert helped me to appreciate everything I now have.

It also gave me a huge heart for families that struggle financially, especially with ill children.

We are to be the hands and feet of Christ...whether we have a lot or a little!

Remember...  if you're struggling, your story is NOT over! You've got this! God hears you!

Sending our love and prayers to our remnant family...Wendy, Walt and the entire Cukierski family

---Some of the many wee ones we've helped---

    ---HELP IF YOU CAN----

Here is a post, from a recipient of what we do,.

L**** and I were one of the precipitants of This mission. She is right. My parking was 9 per day for 3 months. Then on top of that food cost me approximately 15 per day. That was cheap - I got vouchers for $5.00 per meal. So somedays I did not eat or made meals last for more then one meal. Had to. Parking was $810. Food was $1,300. Then you have normal household bills and I have 3 animals I had to pay to have people come and take care of them. At first I had my dog in the Kennel for 1/2 the time. That was about 500. It is VERY expensive to have a sick child. That was Just ONE hospital stay. We have had numerous ones. Some only a few days, some a week or two. Without their help we would of gone fully under!

From providing necessary funds to actually having families stay with us...we DO what we say we do!
