Dear family,
I spent the entire day securing baby formula for several mothers.
Before anyone wonders why these mothers don't just breastfeed, let me tell you this...
I have 13 children...some were breastfed, some were not.
When a child has a physical issue (abnormality), there is no expert who can make that child latch properly.
Yes, breast is best but I refuse to make any mother feel "less than"...especially if their child is having medical issues.
There is currently a nationwide shortage of formula.
I bought diapers and secured a few hundred dollars worth of formula (only took a bazillion stores).
Diapers..yes, diapers. Not all mothers have their own washer and dryer for cloth diapers.
As a young mother, I didn't.
I find it easier to help and not judge, the older I get.
I have been where these mamas are now...it isn't easy.
On Monday, I am back at it again.
Many of the babies we help need special formula and that is even harder to get.
Orders and help with the Pediatric Giving mission for the next 24 hours, will go to helping us pay for baby formula (pray I can get enough).
Â
As always, our entire family is here to give you hope & encouragement! We truly love you and pray for you daily! Never hesitate to send a prayer request!
Sending our love and prayers to our remnant family...Wendy, Walt and the entire Cukierski family
