Daily Encouragement & Specials- Getting older, my story

Daily Encouragement & Specials- Getting older, my story

    +JMJ

    Dear family,

I used to have a toddler on my left hip and an infant in my right arm...

I'm now 56 and am shocked at what I was once able to do.

I now have teens and adult children (12 boys, 1 girl) and have had to have them lift 50 pound bags of animal feed, and move things I used to be able to move.

There are challenges that come with the aging journey and we need to confidently navigate the twists and turns of growing older.

Yes, I know about strength training, etc...but you'll never be 29 again..face it.

Trust me, I have kicked and screamed my way through this aging process...not a fan.

My family doctor always reminds me that there is only so much I can control.

Did I mention that I'm a control freak?

My goal is to find the clarity, peace, joy, and resilience I need to embrace this stage in my life.

My whole identity was formerly tied into having and raising 13 children.

How blessed I have been..but now I enter a new stage of life.

Let all of us finish our earthly pilgrimage well and leave a spiritual legacy.

Sending our love and prayers to our remnant family...Wendy, Walt and the entire Cukierski family

"God bless your family for helping us in our darkest hours. Those many months in PICU with ***** were precious time we wouldn't have had if you hadn't supplied financial help. Thank you for giving us that extra time with him."

---Some of the many wee ones we've helped---

    ---HELP IF YOU CAN----

Here is a post, from a recipient of what we do,.

L**** and I were one of the precipitants of This mission. She is right. My parking was 9 per day for 3 months. Then on top of that food cost me approximately 15 per day. That was cheap - I got vouchers for $5.00 per meal. So somedays I did not eat or made meals last for more then one meal. Had to. Parking was $810. Food was $1,300. Then you have normal household bills and I have 3 animals I had to pay to have people come and take care of them. At first I had my dog in the Kennel for 1/2 the time. That was about 500. It is VERY expensive to have a sick child. That was Just ONE hospital stay. We have had numerous ones. Some only a few days, some a week or two. Without their help we would of gone fully under!

From providing necessary funds to actually having families stay with us...we DO what we say we do!
