Christmas Novena

| Categories: PRAYERS | | 19 Comments

From the Feast of Saint Andrew the Apostle to the Nativity of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ one may begin a special prayer, simply called the "Christmas Prayer" to obtain favors if one's requests are in accordance with God's will.

Recite the following prayer with a pious heart 15 times a day from November 30th to December 25th.

This Christmas prayer carries an Imprimatur from Archbishop Michael Augustine of New York City during the Pontificate of Pope Leo XIII on February 6, 1897.

Saint Andrew Christmas Novena

Hail and blessed be the hour and moment in which the Son of God was born of the most pure Virgin Mary, at midnight, in Bethlehem, in piercing cold. In that hour, vouchsafe, O my God! to hear my prayer and grant my desires, through the merits of Our Savior Jesus Christ, and of His Blessed Mother. Amen.

Thank you very much for reminding and printing out this novena. Please keep my family in your prayers. I will remember your family and the website people. God bless everyone.

Thanks Wendy for this novena. I’ve not known of this one. I look forward to your e-mails and feel blessed to have found your website. God bless you and your family throughout this Christmas season and always!

Thanks for your apostolate. I always feel uplifted by your faith in Our Lord and the beautiful Catholic spiritual items you offer on your website.

It is so wonderful to find traditional Roman Catholic faith in your heart and soul!

I failed to check my email for several days, and I missed this novena! Can I add the extra prayers to catch up? Does it count?
