The
Sancta Camisia-
 Veil
of the Blessed Mother!
The
piece of veil you will receive has been touched to a piece of
the authentic "Sancta Camisia" - veil that Our Blessed
Mother wore!
In the year of Our Lord
876 Charles the Bald- grandson of Charlemagne-celebrated his return
from Jerusalem by presenting to the Cathedral at Chartres a piece
of cloth that had been worn by the Virgin Mary at the birth of
Jesus.
The Sancta
Camisia has been certified by scientists as first century. Pilgrims
still flock to kiss the glass of the holy cloth, and on feast
days
the lame are carried in leather litters to light their candles
before it.
The Sancta
Camisia is the cloak of the Virgin Mary. Most Medieval sources
state that it was worn by Mary when she gave birth to Christ.
The cloak
has survived many fires at Chartres, and was carried out three
days after a catyclismic fire by the Bishop
of Chartes completely unharmed. This was taken as a sign that
a new and beautiful cathedral should be built for the virgin.
The Holy Cloak
has drawn many pilgrims to Chartres, including the English King
Henry V.

is considered by many to be the finest Gothic cathedral in France,
if not in Europe. The Sancta Camisia, the cloth that the Virgin
Mary was wearing when she gave birth to Christ, was once housed
in the town of Chartres. The cathedral itself was first built
in 1145, but was destroyed by fire in 1194. The Sancta Camisia
remained intact, which was seen as a sign of Mary’s love and led
a papal representative to convince the spiritually devastated
people of Chartres to build a new cathedral on the same foundations.

BLESSED SALT: Father Hampsch, a psychologist and renowned
Claretian priest, points out that as a Catholic sacramental, salt
blessed by the liturgical prayer of a priest may be used by itself
or mixed with holy water (reminiscent of Elisha's miracle). "In

instrument of grace to preserve one from the corruption of evil

The
Blood of Jesus-
 Very
Rare 3rd class relic!
The
piece of relic you will receive has been touched to a piece of Joseph
of Arimathea's cloth that he used to wipe Jesus' blood after the
Crucifixion.
After
the Crucifixion, Joseph of Arimathea wiped blood from the body of
Christ and preserved the cloth.
Joseph of Arimathea's
preserved cloth, with Jesus' Precious Blood, remained in the Holy
Land until the Second Crusade, when the King of Jerusalem Baldwin
III gave it to his brother-in-law, Count of Flanders Diederik van
de Elzas.
The count arrived
with this Precious Cloth in Bruges on April 7, 1150 and placed it
in a chapel he had built on Burg Square.
It has been venerated since the Middle ages at Bruges (Belgium)
