Cajetan is not exactly a very well known saint..but he should be!
As mentioned he is the patron saint of the unemployed or those seeking
a job.
He
was a very kind hearted man who was born in Italy in 1480.
His
heart always went out to those who struggled. He founded a bank
to help the poor and offer an alternative to usurers (loan sharks);
it later became the Bank of Naples.
Saint
Cajetan has been especially honored in Argentina. He is known in
Argentina as the Patron of Work (Spanish: Patrón del trabajo).
San
Cayetano Church is visited every August 7 by millions of devoted
people claiming work.
