Why does God allow us to suffer?

(Note: If you prefer, I have made an audio for you, below :)
I've been chatting with a few close friends and told them that I feel as if the Lord has been testing me.  I'm sure you might feel the same way at times.

He allows us to go through hard times, stressful times and times of feeling like we are wandering through the desert alone. Sometimes we feel completely abandoned....at least I have.  Why?

I think Deuteronomy 8:2 sums it up nicely..."in order to know what was in your heart"

If your faith is weak...you would never know it if your life was all rainbows and unicorns!
When hard or stressful times hit, our weak faith may not get us through a difficult trial.  I've had trials over the past few years that could have easily crushed me mentally, physically and spiritually.

God doesn't test us because He doesn't know how strong we are...it's because WE don't know how strong we are!

Testing has made me spiritually stronger.  As the Apostolate has grown...so have the trials.  I have no doubt we are getting ready to reach more folks.

In 2013, I was on my way to being in a wheel chair and was then given a healing  (which I will share more of in the future so I can help others).
The Lord healed me so completely that I became pregnant at 47 and was the oldest...naturally pregnant woman in the entire practice.  If that doesn't show God's hand...nothing does :)

So....if you are going through a trial, know that God allowed it for a reason.  "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials...so that you may mature and complete" James 1:2,4

I'm here to pray for you!  You are truly like family to me...after all, we all pray to the same Father!
